If ever you are in Guthrie, OK and are feeling a like lunch or dinner, you need to check out the Stables Cafe. This is where we eat every time we go Antique Shopping, and we have done it at least three times.
The food here is great. I cherish the Bar-B-Que pulled pork that comes with a portion of coleslaw, so large, you don’t need to have another side.
You could also have the single trip to the salad bar and a cheese burger, that will surely fill you up good. All the portions are huge and worth the price. Once you are done, you now have energy to visit all the Antique stores in the area and enough fuel to select a few gifts for friends and family. Service here was great. It was a quiet Monday lunch time and we did not mind the constant attention we got from our server.
The decor inside will keep you entertained. They have antique signs and objects that make you wonder what the branding people were thinking. All in all, a great place to relax in a small little historic town. Check out their great menu options.
